CFAN Global Outreach

Taking the Gospel into all the world

Our philosophy of ministry for foreign missions is to train, equip and release nationals into the work of the ministry. In order for a missions project to be successful, ownership must be released to the nationals.

The goal of GLOBAL OUTREACH is to partner with indigenous ministers in third world countries — men and women who are dedicated to being a full time pastor, missionary or evangelist to their own people. The local church in many of these third world countries is unable to support a full time minister. That’s where we come in.

They carry the burden of winning the people of their country to Christ, but we stand with them in their battle for just $35-$50 a month as we help meet their family’s most basic needs for food and clothing. This enables them to focus most of their time and attention on ministering to their community.

This program is designed to locate ministers who are in critical need through their indigenous national leadership. They insure that your gift gets to its intended minister. When possible, the minister will try to write a letter to us and share the story of their ministry. The letter will be translated and mailed to us along with the original copy. We will be given a photo of the minister and their family so we can be praying for them as they pray for us.

By partnering with these ministers, we enjoy the eternal dividends of their ministry. In some cases, these ministers are responsible for leading thousands to Christ. In others, entire villages have been led to the Lord by unknown indigenous missionaries. What an incredible dividend for just $35-$50 a month!

Why Indigenous Pastors?

  • Indigenous pastors are already established
  • They know the language and the culture
  • They have the support of their national leadership
  • Financial support is significantly less than a US national sent to the same mission field

Traits of Indigenous Pastors:

  • Come at the recommendations of their national leadership
  • They depend on their sponsor for their support
  • Provide prayer for their sponsor and their home church
  • Where able, provide at least one correspondence each year to their sponsor in addition to providing an annual photo

Partners/Sponsors Role:

  • Provide a monthly gift of $35-$50 to selected minister
  • The gift allows the minister to focus their attention on ministering
  • The gift provides for the food and clothing needs of the minister and their family

Foreign missions are only one facet of CFAN’s vision for the mission field. CFAN is significantly involved in home missions as well through Nations Social Services, Family Health Carnival, and Expedition Point.

At CFAN we truly believe in following the pattern from Acts 1:8, to reach Jerusalem (home), Judea (our neighborhood), Samaria (the people we tend not to like), and the uttermost parts of the earth.
