Island Praise & Worship

Island Praise & Worship is “Praising, Worshiping and Ministering” in a bodily language unto the Lord. 2 Samuel 6:14 says, “And David danced before the Lord with all his might.” Psalm 149:3 and Psalm 150:4 say, “Let them praise His Name in the dance.” and “Praise Him with the timbrel and dance.”

Island Praise & Worship is not an entertainment group, we do not perform. When churches, shopping malls, community centers & other outside events invite us, we minister to them.

Mission Statement

We believe that worship is an expression of praise from our hearts to God. His redemptive power has enabled us the freedom to worship Him in a way that utilizes our gifts and talents through dance. Using what we have, we render our bodies a living sacrifice and testimony of praise, holy and acceptable to Him.

Who Can Join?

Island Praise & Worship is not limited to just one culture. It is open to anyone who has a heart to worship and love the Lord in this fashion.

1Peter 4:10 says, “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in it’s various forms.”

How Old do you have to be?

You must be at least 6 years old. We have five (5) categories:

Keiki (girls) ages 6—11 years
Teens ages 12—24 years
Young Adults ages 25—31 years
Auntie’s ages 32 and up
Kane’s (men /boys) from ages 6 years and up

Must I attend CFAN to be a part of IPAW?

IPAW is open to anyone whether he or she attends Church For All Nations or not. However, to be in a Leadership position (instructor, staff member, etc.) you must regularly attend scheduled services at CFAN.

What if I just want to send my child?

Sending your child will be your responsibility. Ages 6-14 are required to have a parent or guardian attend every class in which the child attends. However, we encourage you to also be a part of Island Praise & Worship. (We have 7 mother-daughter teams in this ministry.)

Transportation and Uniforms

Everyone is on their own for transportation. We carpool when we travel locally. The staff offers their services for those unable to drive. Our uniforms are planned. You will be responsible for costs involved with the uniforms and accessories. You may speak with the Director if this becomes a hardship on you.

Our Class Times

Come & see if this is a ministry you would like to be a part of. Monday’s and Thursday’s from 7—9pm in the Children’s Chapel at Church For All Nations. Be prepared to work out and draw closer to God.
